THE 88th ACADEMY AWARDS BEST DRESSED

The 88th Academy Awards was this Sunday and as always I'm here for the fashions if nothing else. The carpet was a mixture when it came to themes this year, jewel tones, sweetheart necklines, embellishments, and flesh tones; here are my best dressed of the night, these ladies and gent were nothing short of AMAZING.
To start off the night with the jewel tone gowns, Brie Larson looked gorgeous in this Gucci gown.
Olivia Munn was giving me TANGERINE REALNESS in this Stella McCartney gown, very simple with minimal jewelry, makeup and her pulled back hair.
Rachel McAdams is just EVERYTHING! The emerald August Getty Atelier gown played well against her skin tone and pulled back hair, I loved the slit, Rachel was definitely serving BAWDY!
Olivia Wilde kicks off the white, creme gown theme of the night on my Best Dressed List. I loved her in this Valentino plunging neckline gown. I have such a thing for chokers, now, they remind me of childhood and all the chokers I had as a kid. I think she pulled this look together very well. I love the pleats in her gown, it adds a fun element to her look.
My girl, Priyanka Chopra, shut it down in this Zuhair Murad sweetheart neckline gown. Zuhair knows how to dress a woman with curves, the fashion powerhouse has been behind dressing Jennifer Lopez on the Red Carpet for years. This year Priyanka stole the scene in Quantico and now she is stealing the red carpet this year with this gown that fits her like a glove.
My FAVORITE look of the night, Lady Gaga. In fact, I was doing something else while the red carpet was on in the background and I stopped what I was doing when she came on the screen. This pantsuit is EVERYTHING I need in my life, right now! My friend Nakisha, said, I love it, I wish I had somewhere to wear that to in my real life, I said, to the grocery store, to dinner, to get the kids from school, chile, wherever you want to wear it to because it will make anyone's day. Gaga's stylist Brandon Maxwell is starting his own clothing line and this pantsuit is one of his pieces and I tell you it is a work of art. Gaga started out as a actress and she is definitely taking a serious approach to acting to be looked at differently than she is with her music and I can appreciate that about her.
THE MAN!
I mean, Leonardo Dicaprio, I actually didn't want him to win an Oscar, I think he is much better than having one. And as someone who has seen everything he's been in except, Django (barf), I think I can say that. Leo looked FINE in his Armani suit, he is always a site to see in my book.
Leo actually won his first Oscar for the Revenant, Congratulations to him for finally taking home an Oscar! Leo, the Black Delegation accepts you and appreciates all your fine acting work.
