MELANIN MONDAY FEATURING LOTS OF BLACK GIRL MAGIC

The 74th Annual Golden Globes aired last night and the Black Girl Magic was in the building and it was inspiring. Its pretty hard when it comes to picking Best Dressed, but I just have to go with all this amazingness.
Tracee Ellis Ross in Zuhair Murad from the Amour Encage Spring 2016 Collection.
Tracee exuded confidence all night, she was a ray of light for all the black girls and women who have watched her for years!!
Viola Davis with this yellow Michael Kors embroidered gown on her bronze skin was just EVERYTHING, not many people can pull off yellow, well, it tends to wash them out, but I love her when she steps on the scene in full-on color.
Issa Rae is just the SHE-Ro for millennials, this is how you step into Hollywood and dominate, you stay true to yourself. I love her in this Christian Siriano gown, he dresses all my melanin sisters when other designers don't want to take the charge.
Janelle Monaé is ICONIC!! I don't know if I can love her in black and white more than I do in this Armani gown. Although, it's shorter in the front, it's perfect for her silhouette and signature style.
Tracee Ellis Ross won Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her work on BlackIsh, this is the first time this award has been won by a black woman since 1983 when the LEGENDARY Debbie Allen won for her work on Fame, no black woman has been nominated since then. Such an amazing way to pay homage to a legend and much deserved.
Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture was Viola Davis, she deserves! Viola has been in so many films that it is so refreshing to see her hardwork FINALLY payoff and inspire us all.
This is what I like to call #TheWinnersCircle when one wins, we all win!!
